Power Query helps you to perform a series of steps to transform your data. Among which there is a step that allows you to fill data down easily. This feature is specially used to fill the missing data where predictions are available for the missing data.
Power Query Helps To Fill Down Values
Let’s suppose you have a dataset as shown below:

Step1: Load data in Power Query and select column having blank data
In this example, we have the blank data in the Country code column where the starting data is mentioned as shown in the picture below.
Step 2: Fill down data
To fill down the data just click on below given buttons
Transform > Fill > Down
Step 3: Save and Close
As you can see in the picture below, the country code is filled down correctly for each blank column. You can save this data for further transformations by clicking on the save icon and can close it using the Close & Apply button.
